TOLLAND, CT — Tree work is prompting a road closures in Tolland on Wednesday and Thursday, officials said.

On Wednesday, a contractor for the town will be removing a large tree on Kingsbury Avenue. Traffic will be delayed and officials are urging motorists to use alternate routes during the daytime.

On Thursday, a contractor for the town will be removing a large tree on Johnson Road near the intersection of Sugar Hill Road, officials said.

To accommodate large equipment, it will be necessary to close Johnson Road to through traffic, officials said.

Public Works crews will be on site to assist residents of Johnson Road through the area, but delays are expected.
