Tree Worker Dies After Apparent Fall In Tolland, ID Released: Reports
An ID of the person who died after an apparent fall has been released.
TOLLAND, CT — A tree worker who was injured in an apparent fall Friday has died, according to state police.
Jeffrey Gerrish, of Massachusetts, later died as a result of injuries sustained from an apparent fall from a tree truck, according to WTNH News 8.
After the fall, he was taken via Life Star helicopter to the hospital, according to state police.

The incident happened around 10 a.m. Friday. Details of the incident remain vague except state police said the worker “possibly fell from a tree truck.”
Hearst Connecticut reported that the incident occurred in the 400 block of Merrow Road. Officials told Hearst CT that EMS performed life-saving measures and that the victim fell out of a tree.
