TOLLAND, CT — Here are the latest arrests made by Connecticut State Police out of the Troop C barracks.

Oct. 10

ELLINGTON, CT — James Wheat, 33, of Ellington, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on a warrant from a 2021 case.

Oct. 11

MANSFIELD, CT — Kenneth Blackington, 53, of Mansfield, was charged with strangulation and assault, both in the second degree, along with disorderly conduct, after being extradited from Florida.

Oct. 15

MANSFIELD, CT — Stacey Bigley, 36, of Coventry, was charged with third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace after an incident in a parking lot at Mansfield Hollow State Park.

STAFFORD, CT — Jake Kology, 25, of Stafford, was charged with the criminal violation of a restraining order.

TOLLAND, CT — Alex Messina, 25, of Tolland, was charged with illegally carrying a firearm while under the influence of drugs or alcohol and driving under the influence after state police located a sleeping driver on Crystal Lake Road.
