July 27

TOLLAND, CT — Emil Idalia Herrera, 38, of Tolland, was charged with disorderly conduct, criminal attempt at third-degree assault and second-degree threatening following an incident at the Exxon station on Hartford Turnpike. She was also charged via one warrant with third-degree assault, failure to appear in court and parole violation from a May 2025 arrest and with violating conditions of release via another warrant.

UNION, CT — William Mazariegos, 31, of New Britain, was charged with reckless driving, evading responsibility and following too closely after fleeing a crash on Interstate 84 westbound.

July 29

TOLLAND, CT — Nivardo DeJesus Orta-Bravo, 36, of Ellington, was charged via a warrant with evading responsibility and a lane violation in connection with a July 6 incident.

SOMERS, CT — Osborn Correctional Institution inmate Daniel Paniagua, 42, of Manchester, was charged with possession of a controlled substance.

TOLLAND, CT — Melissa Piccoli, 48, of Coventry, was charged with evidence tampering and interfering police via a warrant.

July 30

MANSFIELD, CT — Michelle LeBlanc, 55, of Mansfield, was charged with violating a protective order after an incident on Stafford Road.

VERNON, CT — Robert Wells, 51, of Mansfield, was charged with reckless driving, engaging police in a pursuit, illegally striking a traffic control officer, improper passing, a no-passing zone violation (3 counts), a lane violation, making an improper turn, a traffic control signal violation and interfering with police following a pursuit in Vernon and Tolland.

July 31

STAFFORD, CT — Mickie Barreto, 40, of Stafford, was charged via a warrant with two counts of disorderly conduct and single counts of third-degree assault, second-degree threatening, and second-degree unlawful restraint.

Aug. 1

SOMERS, CT — Devon Mercado, 19, of Somers, was charged with reckless driving, engaging police in a pursuit, a no-passing zone violation, a lane violation and possession of alcohol by a minor on a public street.
