TOLLAND, CT β€” A teenage drunken driver continued on the road some some time after crashing her car on Brown's Bridge Road in Tolland last week, an arrest report indicates.

At 6:34 p.m. on June 20, state troopers were dispatched to the area of Brown's Bridge Road new Crystal lake Road to investigate a crash that the driver subsequently evaded, according to an arrest report.

While en route to the area troopers spotted the car involved heading south on Route 195 near Old Stafford Road. It was then pulled over at the Hicks Municipal Center, state police said.

The driver, a 19-year-old from Ashford, then failed field sobriety tests and was charged with evading responsibility and driving under the influence.

She is due in curt on July 6, records show.
