TOLLAND, CT — Emergency responders rushed to a hydraulic spill in Tolland Thursday afternoon.

The incident took place at 1 p.m. when a line ruptured on a truck. The break left fluid on the roadway in the area of Apple Road and Gehring Road, fire officials said.

Tolland firefighters, the Tolland Department of Public Works and the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection all responded to the scene.

The impact was "minimal," fire officials said.

The roads in the area were sanded to absorb any residual material, fire officials said.
