Truck Hit Stump in Tolland Before Exploding: Report
A report on a Friday truck crash has been completed by state police.

TOLLAND, CT — A pickup truck left a section of Charter Road, hit a stump and burst into flames during a Friday afternoon crash, a state police report indicates.
The crash took place Friday at 3:43 p.m., state police said.
The 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab was traveling north on Charter Road when the 17-year-old driver failed to negotiate a left-hand turn, according to a report.

The truck's rear-end fish-tailed off the road, hit a stump and caught on fire, according to a report.
The road was closed briefly as Tolland firefighters put out the blaze.
