Trucks Collide on I-84 in Wild Few Days of State Police Crash Responses

State police responded to a series of wild crashes over the past few days.

TOLLAND, CT — The state police Troop C log book made it seem like troopers were in the midst of a vehicular pinball game over the past few days with several strange or wild crashes.

The weekend mayhem began at 8:04 a.m. Friday when two two tractor-trailers collided on Interstate-84 eastbound in Tolland.

It was a case of one truck following the other too closely, state police said. Tolland fire officials said one driver complained of head pain and was taken to an area hospital.
