TumbleBookLibrary New at Tolland Public Library

Tolland Public Library has a new and exiting resource available for families with young children: TumbleBookLibrary, a collection of on-line animated, talking picture books. TumbleBooks are created from existing picture books and adding animation, sound, music, and narration to produce an electronic book which you can read, or have read to you. The collection includes fiction, non-fiction and foreign language titles; read-alongs; and National Geographic videos, puzzles and games. The library was able to purchase TumbleBooks through a generous gift from the Tolland Public Library Foundation. Tumble Books are designed to teach kids the joy of reading in a format they’ll love. Library patrons may access this new resource on any computer in the library, and through links on the library webpage under “Kids/Teens” and also under “Databases” at: www.tolland.org/library.
