(Update) Video: Sparks Fly During Transformer Fire in Tolland
Route 74 has been closed.
Update: The road is now open.
A transformer fire has closed Route 74 between Route 30 and Doyle Road Monday morning.
Primary power lines were on the ground, according to Tolland Alert. Smoke filled the air as the transformer burst into flames.
