Wednesday's Scholastic Sports Recap - Tolland High School

TOLLAND, CT — The start of a new month Wednesday yielded a plethora of varsity games involving teams from Hartford and Tolland counties.

Unfortunately, a number of scores were not reported to the CIAC, and are therefore omitted here. The biggest culprit is boys swimming, which had 13 meets including area schools, but only one of those scores was posted on the CIAC web site. Other incomplete tallies were in wrestling (11 of 17 reported) and girls gymnastics (1 of 3 reported).

Participants or parents of those sports who are regularly omitted due to lack of reporting are asked to urge their coaches to email results to the CIAC, or directly to Patch at tim.jensen@patch.com.
