Why is My Water Cloudy?

If you notice a weird coloration in the water coming out of your faucet Tuesday, Aug. 6, fret not. They’re doing work on the Summit Drive water tank.

Crews will be performing regular cleaning and inspection of the water-storage tank. The work is expected to take several days and consist of divers and other workers modifying the bottom of the tank to deter the migration of sediment. 

If your water appears cloudy or discolored, simply run the water for several minutes and it should … ahem … clear up the problem.
