My name is Alli and I am a local business owner in Willington. I recently decided to start blogging on the Tolland patch. This decision was based on the fact that many of my clients come to me from Tolland, CT and also my husband and I have plans to move to Tolland. Our win as CT's Best Dog Groomer came as a big surprise. As a first time business owner the recognition made me feel really secure. Suddenly were here and we're here for good. Oh, and people think were awesome! Winning that award made me feel like I have been making all the right decisions. I'll never forget telling Christina (my talented groomer) the big news. Once I told her the news she calmly replied "I'm not surprised, we are the best." I was miffed. Later that night on my drive home, I got to thinking and realized that Christina was 100% right. I always give every thing I do a full effort. Sometimes I find myself gauging the business success on clients satisfaction vs. dollars and cents. Which make me a semi-bad business owner. Granted, if we can come this far this quickly I know that were doing something right!
