Woman Found in Hall's Pond in Willington Died of Drowning, Coroner Says

Autopsy results were released on Friday by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner: BREAKING

WILLINGTON, CT — A woman found in Hall’s Pond on Tuesday drowned, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner said on Friday.

State police have been adamant that there is no criminal aspect to the case of 37-year-old Tamara Harvey of Willington. Harvey lived on River Road, just a short distance from the popular outdoor spot, police said.

The autopsy results were made available on Friday.

On Tuesday at about 10:35 a.m., troopers responded to Hall’s Pond for a reported body in the water. Upon arrival, troopers located the body, and with the assistance of firefighters, the body was recovered, state police said.

The person, later identified as Harvey, was subsequently pronounced deceased, state police said.
