Turn your Autumn inspirations into memoirs, poems, short stories, essays or plays. Bring copies of your work to share in class and go home with valuable suggestions from a community of creative souls. All levels are welcome.
Instructor Joan Shapiro, Founder of Blue Spruce Press, has a Master of Arts in Teaching from Wesleyan and a Bachelor’s Degree from Brandeis in English and American Literature. She has had a thirty year career teaching, writing, editing and publishing. Her publications include two volumes of poetry, numerous short stories, articles, and reviews.
Dates: Monday Nov. 3 – Monday Nov. 24 (Four Classes)
Time: 2 – 4PM
Fee: $85. Please make check payable to Vernon Community Arts Center. 10% discount for VCAC members. Register early as there is a minimum of five students needed to run a class.
