Wrong-Way Drunken Driver Intercepted On I-84 In Tolland: State Police
State police arrested a man found driving on the wrong side of the highway in Tolland.

TOLLAND, CT β A wrong-way, drunken driver was intercepted along a stretch of Interstate 84 last week, state police said.
A report on the incident in Tolland was made available this week.
At 4:36 a.m. Friday, state police receive a number of 911 calls about a car with its hazard lights on heading east in the westbound side of I-84 between exits 67 and 68, according to an arrest report.

State police located the vehicle at the rest area near Exit 69 and the driver subsequently failed a series of field sobriety tests, according to a crash report.
He was charged with driving under the influence, traveling the wrong way on a highway, second-degree reckless endangerment and driving while under suspension.
