1 Driver Seriously Injured In Head-On Collision In Trumbull: PD
The crash occurred Saturday night on Daniels Farm Road in Trumbull, according to police.

TRUMBULL, CT — One driver was seriously injured Saturday night in a two-vehicle, head-on collision on Daniels Farm Road near Hillcrest Middle School in Trumbull, according to police.
The victim, a 19-year-old Bridgeport man, was taken to St. Vincent's Hospital following the crash, but his condition and the extent of his injuries were not released.
According to Trumbull police, he was driving a white BMW southbound on Daniels Farm Road when he crashed into a black BMW that was traveling northbound.

"Officers who were nearby on an unrelated case heard the collision and immediately responded to the scene and found the two (2) vehicles, both with heavy front end damage," wrote Trumbull police in a statement. "The occupants of the black BMW reported no injuries, but officers located the other driver in his vehicle, who was seriously injured and unconscious."
The officers provided cardiopulmonary resuscitation and other lifesaving medical treatment until Trumbull Emergency Medical Services arrived and took the victim to the hospital.

Daniels Farm Road was temporarily shut down for several hours Saturday night while the accident was being investigated, but was reopened early Sunday.
The collision remains under investigation by the Trumbull Police Traffic Division; its officers were assisted in the probe by members from the Fairfield and Monroe police departments.
No charges have yet been filed.
