2 Trumbull High Students Win National Merit Scholarships

The competitive scholarship awards were sponsored by schools.

TRUMBULL, CT — Two Trumbull High School students earned college-sponsored National Merit Scholarships. More than 3,500 students from across the country were awarded with awards ranging from $500 and $2,000 annually for up to four years.

In total more than $31 million is awarded in National Merit Scholarships through college-sponsored programs and other awards.

Soumya Ganti won a scholarship from Boston University and plans to study international relations.
