$202.8 Million Budget Approved By Trumbull Town Council: Report
The budget will now be sent back to the town's finance board, who will set a new mill rate by early June.
TRUMBULL, CT — A nearly $202.8 million 2022-2023 budget was approved Monday night by the Trumbull Town Council, the Trumbull Times reports. The budget will now be sent back to the town's finance board, who will set a new mill rate by June 9.

According to the Trumbull Times, the approved total represents a decrease of about $113,000 from the budget originally submitted by the Board of Finance. The education budget was left at about $123.3 million, and a $75,000 cut was made to the tree warden's budget.
