3 New Trumbull Officers Sworn In

The three recruits will attend the Connecticut Police Academy on Jul. 6 for six month of training.

From Trumbull PD: The Trumbull Police Department is welcoming the addition of three police officer candidates to the town’s police force.

The three individuals that were sworn in as recruits on Monday, July 2, 2018 during a ceremony at Trumbull Town Hall at 5:30 p.m. are:

James Kassimis, age 29 of Mamaroneck, NY
Caitlin Murphy, age 26 of Shelton, CT
Matthew O’Connor age 24 of Southington, CT

The three recruits will attend the Connecticut Police Academy in Meriden beginning Friday, July 6, 2018, for nearly six months of law enforcement training. The CT Police Officer Standards & Training curriculum consists of over 850 hours of classroom and practical instruction, along with physical fitness conditioning to prepare the recruit officers to serve and perform the many duties of a police officer in today’s communities.
