$300,000 Winning Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket Sold In Trumbull

No one has yet claimed the prize, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

TRUMBULL, CT — A winning scratch-off lottery ticket carrying a $300,000 prize was revealed this week, though no one has come forward yet to claim it, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

The winning ticket is a "$1,000,000 Golden Riches" game, which was purchased at the Trumbull Super Stop on Main Street.

"Until the individual or group presents their winning ticket for claim at CT Lottery Headquarters, the identity of a winner is unknown," officials said in a statement.

The game, which costs $30 per ticket, began in August, and as of Tuesday, three grand prizes of $1,000,000 remained unclaimed. Additionally, three second place prizes of $300,000 also were still available.

More than 2.6 million tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 2.98.
