$43K Lottery Winner Sold In Trumbull

TRUMBULL, CT — A Trumbull resident recently won more than $43,000 on a lottery ticket that was sold in town, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

The resident won $43,476 on a FAST PLAY - $5 MONEYBAGS PROGRESSIVE ticket that was sold at Trumbull Food Mart LLC at 648 White Plains Rd. in Trumbull, according to Lottery officials.

The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
