Alleged Trumbull Bagel Bandit Arrested
A Trumbull man is accused of attempting to steal a bag of bagels and then assaulting a Bruegger's employee.

A Trumbull man is facing assault and other charges after his alleged attempt to steal a bag of bagels from Bruegger’s ended in an assault on Monday, according to police.
Louis Bevilacqua, 40, of Washington Street allegedly shoved an employee and threw a bag of bagels at her after she caught him attempting to steal the bag, police said, according to the Trumbull Times.
A man matching his description also went to the Christian Heritage School and asked to have a wate bottle filled. Staff said he became upset when they didn’t fill his water bottle the whole way and he left before police arrived.

He was charged with third-degree assault, second-degree breach of peace and sixth-degree larceny.
