TRUMBULL, CT — Town officials announced this week they will be conducting a survey regarding a proposed new senior and community center project.
According to the town website, Trumbull voters considered a proposal to construct a new senior and community center in November, however the referendum did not pass.
"To better understand residents' priorities before any future proposal is developed, the Town Council in a bipartisan 19-1 vote passed a resolution at its Feb. 2, 2026, meeting to commission an independent survey to be conducted by the Siena Research Institute/ReconMR," the town website reads.
According to the town, the survey will be conducted during the week of May 4, during which residents may receive a call from a local "203" or "475" number; any text message will come from 203‑780‑6798.
All survey results will be publicly released, including a full presentation to the Town Council in June, according to the town.
