Water Main Break Reported On Trumbull Road: Town

TRUMBULL, CT — Aquarion Water Company is currently working to repair a main break on a road in Trumbull, town officials announced Thursday afternoon.

In a Facebook post around 4 p.m., town officials said the break was reported on Quality Street, and crews have already been dispatched to the area and are working on a resolution.

Town officials said service is anticipated to be restored in approximately 6-8 hours.

"During and after this event, customers may experience no water, low pressure and/ or discoloration," the town's post reads. "Should discoloration occur, customers should run their cold water faucet until the water runs clear prior to resuming use."

An estimated two customers and over 500 hydrants have been affected, according to the town's post.
