TRUMBULL, CT — On Tuesday June 2, 2026, Main Street will be temporarily closed between Lake Avenue and Clark Road from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for the Bridgeport Area Firefighter’s Memorial Procession, according to the police department.
A detour will be in place diverting all Main Street traffic onto Lake Avenue, Sterling Road, Walker Road, Catherine Street, and Clark Road.
Residents will be unable to access Edgewood Avenue, Pinehurst Street, Briarcroft Avenue, Lakewood Drive, and Placid Street during this time.
Commercial trucks will be unable to use the detour route and are advised to avoid the area during the road closure. See less
