TRUMBULL, CT — Two suspects were apprehended, and police were continuing to search for two others late Monday night in Trumbull.
Police had announced that they were actively searching for four male suspects, who were considered armed and dangerous.
Two suspects were apprehended around 9 p.m., according to police.
In an update at around 10 p.m., police asked residents to stay away from the Nichols area of town.
“Residents in the Nichols area are urged to stay in their homes and lock their doors,” police wrote in a post on Facebook. “Residents are also reminded to secure their vehicles and remove keys and key fobs from inside the vehicle to prevent theft.
“Please call 911 if you have any information that can assist the police apprehend the suspects or witness any suspicious activity.”
