TRUMBULL, CT — The Trumbull Police Department is currently seeking a new school crossing guard at Jane Ryan Elementary School.
According to the department's Facebook page, hours for the position are mornings from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. and afternoons from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The position pays $18.03 per hour, two hours per day, during school days only, according to the department.
All necessary training and equipment are supplied, police noted.
Candidates must submit fingerprints and pass a background check, according to police.
The department also noted it is important that all applicants be able to commit to the position for at least the 2026-2027 school year.
