Trumbull Arts Festival 2026 Lineup, Schedule Announced (patch.com) β Trumbull is gearing up for the 2026 Trumbull Arts Festival on Sept. 27, featuring more than 60 local artists, food trucks, and free children's activities on the Town Hall Green. Residents can enjoy live music, yoga, and family-friendly entertainment with free admission and parking while supporting the town's vibrant arts community.

Threats, Evacuation: 3 Arrested After Hour-Long Standoff At Trumbull Marriott, Police Say (dailyvoice.com) β Police and U.S. marshals shut down parts of the Trumbull Marriott on Hawley Lane during an hour-long standoff Tuesday while serving an arrest warrant on a man tied to a multistate power-tool theft ring. Three people, including a Trumbull resident, allegedly threatened to shoot officers before surrendering and are now facing serious state and possible federal charges. Investigators seized vehicles and are probing links to other Connecticut thefts.

4. Developer files scaled back 19-unit housing plan in Easton, Trumbull (trumbulltimes.com) β A controversial 19-unit townhouse plan on Plumtree Lane would straddle Easton and Trumbull, with one unit and wetlands impacts on the Trumbull side. Easton officials and neighbors are pushing back over density, fire access, flooding, and sewers, while the developer stresses affordable units and proximity to Trumbull Mall, transit, and medical services. Trumbull's wetlands commission has already rejected an earlier, larger version.
