Trumbull Farm Fair To Feature Pony Rides, Barn Open House (patch.com) β Families in Trumbull can look forward to a farm fair at Chester Hill Farm on Sept. 26, featuring pony rides, a barn open house, local vendors, and a tack tag sale. Set on 20 acres on Old Dairy Road, the hunter-jumper facility welcomes riders of all ages and abilities and is opening its grounds for a few hours of community fun.

Police To Hold Car Seat Safety Check Event In Trumbull (patch.com) β Trumbull families will have a chance to get their children's car seats checked by certified technicians during a free safety event at Nichols Firehouse on Sept. 26. Police are inviting caregivers to stop by Booth Hill Road between 10 a.m. and noon for help with proper installation and inspections to keep young passengers safer on every ride.

Surveying Operations on Route 25 and Route 15 in Trumbull (ct.gov) β Expect lane closures on Route 25 and the Merritt Parkway in Trumbull on September 12β13 as state crews conduct surveying for a larger pavement reconstruction project. Closures will run from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days, with flaggers and signs guiding traffic, so plan extra time or alternate routes through that stretch.

4. 50 CIAC football players to watch during the 2026 season (darientimes.com) β Several standout St. Joseph High School players in Trumbull, including versatile senior Jake Rios and lineman Will Zaccagnino, are highlighted among 50 CIAC football players to watch this fall. The statewide list showcases top returning quarterbacks, runners, and defenders, giving Trumbull fans an early look at who could shape another strong season for the Hogs and their rivals.
