TURMBULL, CT — From a Cedar Crest Road colonial to a Lobsterback Road estate fetching $1,185,000, Trumbull's real estate market has been active at every level this month.
Five homes sold in Trumbull between Sept. 8 and Sept. 14, with a top price of $1,185,000, according to Zillow.com.
The most recent closing in this batch is 7 Cedar Crest Road, which sold Sept. 14 for $570,000. The three-bedroom, two-bath home offers 1,981 square feet of living space on a 0.47-acre lot, at $287.73 per square foot.
49 Moose Hill Road sold Sept. 11 for $722,000. The five-bedroom, three-bath home offers 3,057 square feet on a 1.58-acre lot, at $236.18 per square foot — the lowest per-square-foot rate of the five.
The top price of the five belongs to 36 Lobsterback Road, which sold Sept. 10 for $1,185,000. The four-bedroom, three-bath home offers 4,307 square feet on a 1.01-acre lot, at $275.13 per square foot.
The same day, 31 Melrose Ave. sold for $815,000. The three-bedroom, three-bath home offers 2,520 square feet on a 0.3-acre lot, at $323.41 per square foot.

What this says about the Trumbull market: The top price of the batch, on Lobsterback Road, came from its biggest home by a wide margin, more than 1,200 square feet larger than any other sale — yet its per-square-foot rate landed in the middle of the pack, not at either extreme.
