TRUMBULL, CT — Trumbull's registrars hold a statewide voter registration session Friday, early voting for Nov. 3 begins Oct. 19 at the Trumbull Library and the Hillcrest Middle School Building Committee gets updates from its design and construction team.

1. Voter Registration Session Friday
When: Friday, Oct. 16, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: Elections Office, Trumbull Town Hall, 5866 Main St.
What to know: The registrars will hold a statewide voter registration session, the last regular session before the Nov. 3 election, according to the town. Same-day registration is available during early voting and on Election Day. Questions go to 203-452-5058 or 203-452-5059. More information here.
2. Early Voting At The Trumbull Library
When: Oct. 19-Nov. 1; Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3
Where: Trumbull Library, 33 Quality St.
What to know: Early voting runs Oct. 19 through Nov. 1 at the Trumbull Library, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with hours extended to 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Oct. 27 and Oct. 29, according to the town clerk's election warning. Election Day polling places are Daniels Farm School, Booth Hill School, Tashua School, Madison Middle School, Frenchtown Road School, Middlebrook School and Christian Heritage School.

3. Hillcrest Middle School Committee Gets Project Updates
When: Tuesday, Oct. 13, 7 p.m.
Where: Town Council Chambers, Town Hall, 5866 Main St.
What to know: The Hillcrest Middle School Building Committee will hear updates from the architect and the construction manager, as well as review and approve invoices, according to the agenda. More information here.
4. Library Board Elects Officers
When: Wednesday, Oct. 14, 7 p.m.
Where: Trumbull Library, 33 Quality St.
What to know: The Trumbull Library System Board of Trustees will elect officers and discuss the poet laureate program, as well as hear reports from the director and treasurer, according to the agenda. More information here.
5. Loose-Leaf Pickup Set To Start Nov. 4
When: Expected to begin Wednesday, Nov. 4
Where: Trumbull Public Works, Town Hall, 5866 Main St.
What to know: The town's loose-leaf collection is expected to begin Nov. 4 and run until every neighborhood is done, with a daily progress map online, according to Public Works. Residents can request bagged leaf pickup as often as needed during the program. More information here.
