Trumbull middle school students can compete in a gingerbread house decorating contest Monday, Nov. 30, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Trumbull Public Library on Quality Street. The Mary J. Sherlach Counseling Center and SLAM are presenting the event, according to an announcement from the Town of Trumbull.
The contest is open only to middle school students, who may compete alone or in groups of two or three. Materials, hot chocolate, popcorn and candy canes will be provided.
First place earns a $50 Target gift card, second place a $25 Target gift card and third place a $10 Subway gift card. Although the contest takes place at the library, the announcement notes that the Trumbull Library is not sponsoring it.
