Arrest Made In Trumbull Park Robbery
One of three robbers has been arrested, according to police.

TRUMBULL, CT — Police arrested an 18-year-old Bridgeport man for the robbery in Twin Brooks Park that occurred about a week ago. Cristofer Fuentes-Salguero is accused of beating and robbing a 60-year-old man in the park.
He is charged with second-degree robbery, second-degree larceny and second-degree assault of a person age 60 or older. He was held in lieu of $150,000 bail. He turned himself in after learning of the warrant for his arrest.
"Working diligently on evidence collection, records searches, and collaboration with other police agencies, Trumbull Police detectives were able to identify the suspect vehicle that was used and operated by Fuentes-Salguero during the incident," said Lt. Douglas Smith, police spokesman.

The victim provided descriptions of his three assailants and their getaway vehicle. Detectives are still trying to identify the other robbers.
The victim was attacked during the afternoon. One man punched him in the head without warning, which knocked him to the ground. Two other young men then joined in the assault and kicked the victim while demanding money.
