TRUMBULL, CT — Police are investigating an assault that occurred at the Macy's store at the Trumbull mall Dec. 31. A 21-year-old victim was walking in mall when he was assaulted by two other males, said Deputy Chief Thomas Savarese.
The fight escalated and a display case was knocked over. The victim sustained minor injuries and was able to run away. Police have yet to identify the subjects responsible for the assault.
No weapons were reported to have been displayed or used during the assault.
