Bishop Caggiano deposits relics into a new altar

In preparation for the Mass of Dedication with the Consecration of St. Catherine of Siena Church on Sunday, March 24

On March 19, 2019, Bishop Caggiano visited St. Catherine of Siena Church to deposit the relics of the following six saints in the church's new Altar, in anticipation of the Mass of Dedication with Consecration of the church this weekend.

  • St. John Vianney
  • St. Frances Xavier Cabrini
  • St. André Bessette
  • St. Elizabeth Ann Seton
  • St. Pius X
  • Blessed John Henry Newman

During the Mass on Sunday, the Bishop will deposit a relic of the church’s Patron Saint, St. Catherine of Siena, which will be visible through the grille on the front of the altar.
