
TRUMBULL, CT — Police are investigating several car burglaries that took place in the Long Hill section of town. Thefts occurred between Friday night and early Saturday morning.
"The thieves gained entry into unlocked cars removing cash and valuables left inside," said Lt. Keith Golding, police spokesman.
Cars were parked in residential driveways.

Vehicle thefts have also occurred in town, typically when motorists leave their vehicles running in order to warm them up.
Police remind residents to keep their vehicles locked and valuables secured.
