TRUMBULL, CT — An Ansonia teen was arrested after he stole a vehicle from the parking lot at the Trumbull mall, according to police.
The 1995 Honda Accord was stolen Oct. 30. Police viewed security video of the suspected thieves.
On Nov. 14 an officer conducted a motor vehicle stop when another motorist stopped behind him to check on his friend who had been pulled over, police said. The officer recognized the suspect and got his identification.

Police then drafted a warrant and Jonathan Amaro, 19, turned himself in Jan. 16. He is charged with third-degree larceny for the $1,500 Accord.
