Child Falls Out 2-Story Window in Trumbull: Update

TRUMBULL, CT — A child sustained non-life threatening injuries after falling out of a second-story window Wednesday evening.

The two-year-old boy was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries.

Police determined the incident was an accident. The child was sitting on a couch in the living room with his mother and an nearby window was open, but a screen was in place. The boy apparently pressed on the screen when his mother wasn't looking and fell out.

He fell to the pavement about 15 to 20 feet below.

No criminal charges were filed due to the accidental nature of the incident.
