Coronavirus CT: CT Income Tax Filing Deadline Extended To July 15

The state has extended the income tax filing deadline by 90 days. Those owed a refund can still file now to receive it.

CONNECTICUT — The state Department of Revenue Services is extending the filing and payment deadlines for personal income tax returns to July 15 in concert with similar measures from the U.S. Treasury.

The extension also applies to Connecticut estimated income tax payments for the first and second quarters of 2020.

Those who are owed a refund can still file with DRS. The state has a free online tool to file state taxes.
