Counterfeit Bill Arrest Made At Trumbull Mall: PD
A man tried to buy items with a counterfeit $100 bill, police said.
TRUMBULL, CT — A Corona, NY man was arrested after he was found in possession of five counterfeit $100 bills, according to police.
The man tried to use a bill at Old Navy, but was turned away. Old Navy employees contacted police and Angel Fernandez, 21, was later found walking in the mall.
He was charged with five counts of first-degree forgery and was later released on a promise to appear.
