TRUMBULL, CT — The Trumbull Tax Assessor's Office is closed to the public due to a shortage of staffers because of the coronavirus, according to officials.

The office will be closed until further notice; a reopening date has not yet been announced.

Like other communities in Connecticut, Trumbull is experiencing a spike in COVID-19 cases, as the omicron variant continues to spread.

In the meantime, those with questions for the Tax Assessor's Office are urged call 203-452-5016 or email rvitale@trumbull-ct.gov.

"Your call or email will be returned," officials said.
