
TRUMBULL, CT — A Bridgeport man was arrested after police found marijuana packaged for sale along with heroin in his vehicle, according to police.
Officers were doing distracted driving enforcement Aug. 3 and spotted Jamell Garden, 30, talking on his phone.
Police pulled the vehicle over and smelled marijuana, but Garden said he didn't have any of the drug on him, police said. A K-9 found marijuana in his center console and in a backpack totally more than .8 ounces. The drugs were packaged for sale, police said.

Police also found a small amount of heroin in the vehicle.
Garden was charged with possession with intent to sell, operation of a drug factory, possession of more than half an ounce of marijuana and possession of a narcotic. Bond was set at $5,000.
