DUI Arrest Made In Trumbull
The man fled the scene of a minor crash, according to police.

TRUMBULL, CT — Officers arrested a Milford man who is accused of fleeing the scene of a crash while intoxicated, according to police.
Police were called about a disabled vehicle in the Nichols Avenue area July 7, 2017. They found a vehicle with its front tire missing and sparks coming off the rim. A mirror from the vehicle and a sign were found damaged in another area.
Operator Daniel Demet, 25, smelled of alcohol and police found a bottle of Captain Morgan rum that was three-quarters full. Demet had difficulty standing and was sent to the hospital.

Officers obtained his hospital records which showed he had a .15 BAC level, according to police.
He was charged with evading responsibility, DUI and failure to drive in proper lane.
