DUI Driver Clipped Cop's Cruiser: Trumbull PD
The man said he didn't realize he clipped the officer's cruiser, according to police.

TRUMBULL, CT — A Trumbull man was arrested after he clipped the mirror of a Trumbull Police cruiser that was conducting a stop on Route 8 northbound, according to police.
The officer saw that his mirror was clipped by a driver Feb. 22 and that the other vehicle didn't stop. He got into his vehicle and pulled the car over when it got off the highway.
Driver Raul Laffitte, 69, failed a field sobriety test and his BAC results were .118 and .114, police said. He told the officer he did feel something, but didn't realize he hit the cruiser, according to police.
