Erratic Driver Charged With DUI: Trumbull PD

TRUMBULL, CT — Police arrested a Monroe woman on a DUI charge after getting a report of an erratic driver on Route 25.

An officer pulled over the vehicle July 17 around 11:45 a.m. and smelled alcohol on the operator's breath, police said.

Maureen Fama, 60, said she hadn't been drinking. She failed field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest.

Her BAC test results were .29 and .30, both more than three times the legal limit.
