We are having Jeff Cook back to do his program on CT Civil War regiments and artifacts this Sunday, but he just informed me today that artist Don Spaulding will be in attendance. We are raffling off one of his paintings at the event. He is not only a well known artist, but also a collector of Civil War and Native American artifacts. I just wanted to let everyone know about our exciting guest. It is a real treat. Jeff has invited some other collectors and historians to come as well. I think it could be a really nice gathering. So if you know of anyone interested in collecting, art or the Civil War pass this along! Jeff will talk from 2-3:30 p.m. Even if you came last time, Jeff has recently acquired some new items that he is going to bring along to the talk.
