The 9th Annual “School’s Out” golf tournament benefiting the Trumbull Elementary Schools will be held Monday May 14th at our home course, the well-manicured Tashua Knolls Golf Club. The event is limited to 144 golfers - 36 foursomes. Registration begins at 9:30am, with shotgun tee-off at 11am. (Rain date is Tuesday May 22nd.) The cost for this event is $175. This price includes, 18 holes of golf, riding cart, refreshments on the course, lunch & Prime Rib dinner at Marisa’s, 6540 Main Street, Trumbull, with full open bar. There will be awards for Best Team Scores, 4 Closest to the Pins & Longest & Straightest Drives.
The format for the tournament is called ABC-123 and is a “Play your own ball” format using 80% of individual handicaps. Your team score consists of the Lowest 2 net scores on each hole. Your team is competing for the Champion’s Cup, a perpetual crystal trophy that resides in the winning school until that team is dethroned at the next year’s event! FRENCHTOWN are the current reigning champs. There will be an awards presentation during dinner.
Net proceeds are distributed among all 6 schools’ Enrichment Funds. Come on out and support your local schools.
