Something important is happening in the Valley and we need your help. On Sat. Aug 11th, local park users will be gathering to build long-needed "Environmental Decking" for the main trail in the wet area.
The Trumbull Parks and Recreation Commission has stepped in to help. They will be providing lumber and other materials for this important ecological stabilization project and are relying on volunteers to put it together. Experienced carpenters and trail builders will be coordinating the effort and all are welcome to help out.
Meet a little before 9 am at the Daneils Farm Park Road Commuter lot. You can hike or ride in and help out. All are welcome. Be sure to bring sturdy shoes, work gloves and water.
