At 7 p.m., there will be a presentation by Brian Smith of the Connecticut Department of Developmental Services (DDS) called “Charting the Life Course: Creating a Vision for Your Child’s Future.” Life Course Planning is a framework that utilizes visual graphics to facilitate discussion and organize information in a
meaningful format. The process was originally created by families to help individuals and families of all abilities and ages develop a vision for a good life. Individuals and families may focus on their current situation and stage of life but may also find it helpful to look ahead to think about life experiences that will help move them toward an inclusive, productive life in the future.

The snow date will be March 28.
